A UCT graduate, he came to fame with his own play, More, worked with Cape Town Opera as Assistant Director, played Dionysos in The Bacchae and Father Vincent in Cry, The Beloved Country, and most recently assisted with the devising and then directed Artscape's New Day. Played the role of Oedipus in Jocasta Rising in 2004.
