Master Rowlands (fl. 1860s to 1870s) was a local amateur performer in Cape Town.


Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

A Master Rowlands is first mentioned as a juvenile director for the Juvenile Christy's Minstrels in 1864. He apparently directed the play Sudden Thoughts (Wilks) for them in June 1864.
