Mary Twala (19**-), stage name for Mary Mhlongo. South African theatre, television and film actress.

Mary started acting for Gibson Kente in 1986.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Apart from many stage roles, she has also taken part in numerous South African films.

She appeared in Sheila's Day in 1993, The Game 1997, SeZaR 2001.

She won awards for her portrayals in both Undenzani Mlewane and Taxi to Soweto.

She was awarded a Naledi Award (Lifetime Achiever), arward year 2004.
