Training

Apprenticeship through the Performing Arts councils of the Cape and the Transvaal and Brickhill-Burke Productions.


Career

Senior Sound and Systems Designer for Prosound (1992).

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Worked in theatre audio on Evita, Mame, Monday After the Miracle and Ons Wag op die Kaptein.

Designed for over twenty musicals for the Performing Arts Councils including Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and credited for the original sound designs for Sarafina!; Township Fever; King Afrika and The Martian Chronicles, Athol Fugard's Playland (Baxter Theatre, 1992), Cabaret (Fugard Theatre, 2015)..

Extensive experience with television and radio broadcasting.

Live sound engineer for shows such as é Void, Petit Chaval; Sipho Hotstix and Robin Auld. Toured with Pope, UB40 and Amnesty International Southern Africa.
