DORNFORD-MAY, Mark (1955-) Directer, producer, writer. *** Isango Portobello production company. The Mysteries, ****An adapted South African version done at the Spier Amphitheatre in 2003, became an international hit. Text and direction by Mark Dornford-May ***, lighting design by Mannie Manim. Revived in 2009 as The Mysteries – Yiimimangaliso, The Magic Flute – Impempe Yomlingo, with text and direction by Mark Dornford-May and first performed at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town by Isango Portobello in 2007.
