SCHOEMAN, Maria (19**-) Actress and singer.


Biography

She was born in Johannesburg. Besides painting and illustrating, she loves windsurfing and reading.


Youth

Training

She has a B.A. (Hons) in Drama from Pretoria University.


Career

Worked for The Space in the 1970s.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Performed in Edith Piaf – Je Vous Aime (a revue at The Space Theatre), You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (with CAPAB), Holy Moses and All That Jazz (at the Market Theatre), Fiddler on the Roof (with CAPAB 1978).

Acted in Edith Piaf – Je Vous Aime, My Husband’s wild desires almost drove me mad, The Riddle Machine and Zombie. * Lunatic and Lover 1982.
