LUYT, Margot. (19**-) Actress. *Studied drama at the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department, ** Played roles in Karnaval (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1975) and Piekniek te Velde at The Space in the 1970s. * In the 2000s became a prominent character actress in TV soaps and dramas, i.a. the immensely popular Sewende Laan (7th Avenue), and Chris Barnard’s detective comedy Amalia.
