Man and Superman
Man and Superman is a four-act play by George Bernard Shaw[1] (1856 – 1950).

The original text
Written by George Bernard Shaw in 1903, in response to requests for him to write a play on the Don Juan theme. The play was first performed The Royal Court Theatre in London on 23 May 1905, without the third act (containing Don Juan in Hell in Scene 2). The play was not performed in its entirety until 1915, when the Travelling Repertory Company played it at the Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh.

Performance history in South Africa
Research material on the Repertory Theatre Society, later known as the Cape Town Repertory Theatre Society : a programme for Man and superman by George Bernard Shaw, performed on 10.3.1937 at the Little Theatre 1937: Presented by the Repertory Theatre Society in the Little Theatre, Cape Town (opening 10 March), directed by André van Gyseghem, with a cast which included George Vollaire (newly arrived from London) and Cecilia Sonnenberg.
