Mamelodi Theatre Organisation (Mato) is a Pretoria-based community theatre group founded in 1986, that operates as a self-funded initiative. The organisation has performed at a number of festivals in South Africa, such as the Grahamstown National Arts Festival, the FNB Vita Dance Umbrella, the Klein Karoo Kunstefees and the Aardklop Kunstefees.

At its 30th anniversary celebration Mato research material to the Unisa Library Archives, initiated by Professor Marisa Keuris. South African drama and theatre heritage project.
