Maid in South Africa is a 1986 play by Clive Howard Morris. A full-length contemporary South African farce of mistaken identities. The play won Morris the 1986 Amstel Playwright of the Year Award and was first produced in the Playhouse Loft in 1987, directed by Rex Garner.

Staged in 1994 by Technikon Pretoria in the Breytenbach Theatre, directed by Henry Mylne.

In 1996 a revival was done under the title Maid in the New South Africa, directed by Ralph Lawson at the Playhouse.
