Magda van Biljon (19**-) is an actress, playwright, director and producer for stage and TV.

Biography

She matriculated at Helpmekaar College in Johannesburg in 1963.

She was married to the actor Zack du Plessis.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She had a role in the television thriller Samaritaan in the 1990s and she became known as Tannie Magda in the children’s programme Wielie Walie.

Awards, etc.

She was commended for her documentary programme on Bushmen at the French Film Festival for Women.
