CELE, Madikane. (198*-199*) A nephew of John Dube, who trained at the Ohlange Institute and presented a performance of For Unkulunkulu’s Sake at the Hampton Institute in Virginia in 1913 in an attempt to accquaint his black American students with Zulu foklore and music. Possibly one of the earliest extensions of the notion of the Tribal Sketch. [Kruger, 31]
