Madeleine Usher

Madeleine Usher (b. 10/09/1943) was a film actress.

Biography

Born to Pieter (Peter) Usher and Kathleen Millichip, Madeleine Cynthia Usher was second runner-up in the 1962 Miss South Africa contest and was offered the part of Bob Courtney’s daughter in Jamie Uys’s Lord Oom Piet (1962). This was followed by a role in the Jim Reeves movie, Kimberley Jim (Emil Nofal/1963). She made only four films after that: Mozambique (Robert Lynn/1964), The Winners (Emil Nofal & Roy Sargeant/1972), The Savage Sport (Keith G. van der Wat/1973) and The Winners II (Jans Rautenbach/1977). On stage she appeared in Come Blow Your Horn (1964) with Gordon Mulholland and Clive Parnell, as well as in By Accident, one of the two short plays making up Double Yolk. Today she is Madeleine Davidson.
