Mr Macklin (fl. mid 19th century) was a British military officer (possibly of the 9th Regiment and/or the 99th Regiment), and an amateur performer.

While stationed in Cape Town , he is also listed as a stalwart of the Lanarkshire Dramatic Club of the 99th Regiment
