Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He was the architect responsible for the overall design of the Space Theatre. In 1997, to commemorate the Space's 25 birthday, he also designed The Cape Times Watch this Space Exhibition, opening on 12 March 1997 featuring Space memorabilia, photographs, Moira Fine's Space Club, Space Benefit productions and a tribute to Yvonne Bryceland.

In the 1970s he did the following productions at The Space: The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant, Dusa, Fish, Stas and Vi and A Flea in Her Ear, Karnaval.

Other productions include Peer Gynt at the Little Theatre in 1969 and St Joan of the Stockyards (Baxter Theatre 1979).

He was a founding member of A Company of Actors in Cape Town in 1995.
