Sergeant [[M. At first, the Regiment was posted to Grahamstown but was later transferred to Keiskama Hoek (Keiskammahoek) in 1862.


Contribution to SA theatre

Sergeant M. Lyons acted in two productions with the Sergeants of the Regiment.

July 21, 26 & 27, and August 3, 1860: Acted in the Sergeants of the Regiment of The Lady of Lyons, or Love and Pride. (First Officer).
