Biography

Studied at the Grey University College in Bloemfontein and was a member of and actor for the GUK Toneelvereniging in the late early 1920s, He played "Van Bloemberg" in their 1920 production of Die Koerantskrywers.

He married Miss R. Steynberg of Graaff-Reinet (a protegé of P.C.H. Pohl) and they settled in Harrismith, where they for years contributed to Afrikaans theatre, notably by producing most of D.F. Malherbe's plays there.
