A drama in one act by John Howard Payne. (In some editions termed "a petite comedy, in one act") Adapted from Eugène Scribe and Henri Dupin's French play Michael et Christine.

First performed in the Theatres Royal, London.

Printed from the acting copy, with remarks, biographical and critical, by G.H. Davidson (London) in 1830.
