Love Child was written by Gcina Mhlophe in the indigenous theatre traditon called "intsomi".

Performance history

1998: The one-woman show, performed by Gcina Mhlophe, premiered in Japan, directed by Siphiwe Khumalo and with Leigh Colombick as production/stage manager. The production then moved to the Pieter Roos Theatre at the Johannesburg Civic Theatre in October.
