A comedy based on a short story by Woody Allen called Lovborg’s Women Considered from his collection Without Feathers.

The original text

Created in 1997 by the Arena Theatre Company, spoofing the naturalistic and realistic dramas of Jorgen Lovborg (after Anton Chekhov and Ibsen).

Translations and adaptations

A comedy, created in 1997 by the Arena Theatre Company and developed further in 2003 by director Chris Weare and the same company but this time with Alan Committie, Gaetan Schmid, Keren Tahor and Robyn Scott, is based on a short story by the inimitable Woody Allen called Lovborg’s Women Considered from his collection Without Feathers. A number of established physical forms are explored; for example the work of Steven Berkoff, DV8 Physical Theatre and the late Marlene Blom.
