He was the designer and builder of the original [[Barnyard Theatre]] which he He and his wife actress [[Sybil Coetzee]] created on their farm near Plettenberg Bay 1996. Later formed the [[Barnyard Theatres]] and turned this idea into a franchise, building [[Barnyard Theatres]] in a variety of spaces (schools, shopping malls, etc) across the country.
