Louis Jacobson (19**). Couturier and costume designer.

Louis immigrated to South Africa from Germany.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

A member of the Johannesburg REPS. He designed costumes for Anna Christie, (REPS 1942), Romeo and Juliet (REPS, 1949), The Young Elizabeth, The Merchant of Venice (Children's Theatre open-air production at the Zoo Lake, 1957). Other productions include The Madwoman of Chaillot, Full House and Pop Goes the Queen.
