Thibault, Louis-Michel (1750-1815) Influential French architect who arrived in Cape Town in 1783 and became the head of the military academy in Cape Town and then building inspector, surveyor, architect. His influence on theatre was indirect but includes the design of the Goede Hoop Masonic Lodge.
