Lisette Lecat (19*- ). Actress, voice artist, playwright.

She had a role in the American production of God’s Forgotten (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1979, La Mama, New York).

She wrote the play Dark Sun under the name Lisette Lecat Ross. (NELM: [Collection: FNB VITA]: 2004. 34. 6. 14. 27.

Quoted from Bookreporter [1]: Ms. Lecat’s career began in her native South Africa, where she performed with the country’s national theatres and several commercial companies and did extensive radio and voice-over work both commercially and for the SABC. She moved to Spain, where she continued her voice-over work in three languages, dubbing films for Vox de España. Later, in England and the United States, she resumed her theatre career while continuing to do wide-ranging voice-overs. Ms. Lecat is also a published playwright (under the name Ross). Her most recent work starred the veteran actress Julie Harris.
