Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She starred in A Touch of Webber...A Taste of Rice at the Sound Stage from 1991 to 1992. She starred in Grease at the Alexander Theatre in 1992 and in Nunsense for Pieter Toerien in 1994.
Other productions include Sweat, Leader of the Pack (musical), Aladdin, Menopause - The Musical, The Threepenny Opera.
On television, Lisa has explored an evil princess in "Sinbad", sung in Miss Teen Pageants, and appeared on "e with Felicia". As a cruise ship entertainer, she sailed the oceans from Genoa to Italy, with Egypt, Zanzibar, Mombasa and Mauritius in between. She feels very privileged to have sung with some fabulous orchestras in South Africa and abroad.
In between writing scripts and performing in corporate theatre she has been taken part in " Woman of the Year" in 2002.
Awards, etc,
Lisa was nominated for a Vita Award (National) for her role in Sweat (performer of the year in musical theatre. 1994-5).
