Lionel B. Stent, amateur actor during the early years of the twentieth century in Pretoria, the brother of Vere Stent.


His work in South African Theatre

His most successful part was Barry in The Country Girl. He also appeared in A Fool's Paradise, A Pantomime Rehearsal, Aladdin, The Balloon, Our Bitterest Foe, The Burglar and the Judge, The Liars, Sweet Lavender, H.M.S. Pinafore, The Rivals, The Magistrate, Maritana, La Mascotte, Faust, Trial by Jury, War and a Woman, The New Boy, The Private Secretary, The Manxman, The Middleman, The Sign of the Cross, The Christian, Niobe (Paulton and Paulton), Lady Windermere's Fan, Facing the Music, Mrs Gorringe's Necklace, Miss Hook of Holland.
