(****-****). Actor and director. Worked as an actor and director at the Market Theatre. Was the director of the Centre of Creative Acting in Hillbrow. Performed in Richard III, Investigation into the Death of a Greek, Alice’s Adventures Underground, A Macbeth, Enemy, The Trial, Murder Among Friends (for Pieter Toerien), Grand Ceremonial, Miss Julie and in The Persecution of Oedipus Rex. (19**-) Actor, designer?* and director. * Worked briefly for The Space in Cape Town in the early 1970s, performing in Tooth of Crime (staged at the Beattie Theatre) and directed L’amante Anglaise for them. * became one of the founding members of The Company, performing in The Seagull which opened the Upstairs Theatre in 1976. later settled in Grahamstown, [?*working at the Rhodes University Drama Department as designer and technician?] Other acting roles in **, **, and Concealment (Reza de Wet, 2003), *. * * Married Reza de Wet in 198*. REARDON, Lindsay. He formed part of Mannie Manim and Barney Simon’s The Company together with Vanessa Cooke, Leonie Hofmeyr, David Eppel, Judith Cornell, Janice Honeyman, Sue Kiel, Danny Keogh, Aletta Bezuidenhout and John Oakley-Smith around 1974. Starred in Barney Simon’s production of Chekhov’s The Seagull at Upstairs at the Market in June 1976 with Vanessa Cooke, Sandra Prinsloo, Erica Rogers, Marius Weyers, Danny Keogh, Bill Brewer and Bess Finney.
