Leslie Mongezi (19**-). Actor.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Performed in The Black Mikado (as “Nanki Poo”), Godspell, The Me Nobody Knows, Candide (at the Baxter), The Wizard of Oz (as “Tin Man”), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and in The Story of Margaret Harding.

He also starred in The Me Nobody Knows, for The Company at the Market Theatre in 1977. Benjy Francis directed and it also starred Leonie Hofmeyr, Nomsa Nene, Barrie Shah and Jonathan Taylor. Also in Holy Moses and All That Jazz for The Company, 1979, Angel City.

He had roles in films such as Red Dust and Circles in a Forest
