Performance history in South Africa

Directed by Richard Daneel for the NTO Kamertoneel in 1959 starring himself, David Herbert and Wilma Stockenström . Decor by Frank Graves. Stage manager Athol Fugard.


A Don Maguire Production in 1979 featured The Chairs and The Lesson in An Evening with Ionesco at the Baxter Theatre Studio. Directed by Don Maguire, the cast included Barbara Maguire, Richard Farmer and Don Maguire.
