GROSSET, Len. Impressive set designer for ''[[Romeo and Juliet]]'', which was performed in the [[Pretoria Opera House]] and the [[Wits Great Hall]] in 1949. It was produced by the [[Johannesburg Repertory Society|Reps]] to commemorate twenty one years of existance. Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Impressive set designer for Romeo and Juliet, which was performed in the Pretoria Opera House and the Wits Great Hall in 1949. It was produced by the Reps to commemorate twenty one years of existance. It was directed by André van Gyseghem, and starred Eugenie Heyns, Leon Gluckman, Muriel Alexander and Herbert Kretzmer. Costumes by Louis Jacobson also impressed.

He designed the set for the Children's Theatre open-air production of The Merchant of Venice at the Zoo Lake which was directed by Cecil Williams in the summer of 1957. It starred Rory MacDermot and Valerie Philip, and Louis Jacobson did costumes. They did another performance of this play at the Donaldson Orlando Community Centre.
