Le Tonnelier ("the cooper") is a opéra-comique[1], by Nicolas-Médard Audinot (1732 - 1801)[2] and François-Antoine Quétant (1733-1823). .

First performed in Paris by the Comédiens Italiens ordinaires du Roi on 16 March 1765.

Published in Paris in 1765.

1803: Performed in the African Theatre by the Het Fransche Liefhebbery Geselschap under the leadership of C.M. Villet on Saturday 13 August with Le Tableau Parlant (Anseaume), Les Jardiniers (Davesne) and Toinon et Toinette (Desboulmiers and Gossec).

1804: Performed in the African Theatre by the Het Fransche Liefhebbery Geselschap under the leadership of C.M. Villet on Saturday 7 January with

1809: Performed by Tot Nut en Vermaak in French on 24 April, in the African Theatre, along with Robert, Chef de Brigands (Lamartélière).
