A one act French comedy.Bosman (1928: p128) lists it as by "Pont-De-Vesle", but it is most likely by "Pont de Veyle" one of the editors of the Bibliothèque dramatique de Pont de Vesle by Bibliophile Jacob. (The name is possibly also a pseudonym for Claudine Alexandrine Guérin de Tencin.)

Performance history in South Africa

Performed in Cape Town by students of Mr M.J. Riaux, under his direction, followed by the ballet De Liefdenest (Riaux and Meurant).
