No further details are given, but it is very likely that this was a version of ''[[Monet, Directeur de l'Opéra-Comique]]'' ,  a comedy in one act by Pierre-Yon Barré, Jean-Baptiste Radet and François-Georges Desfontaines.

Le Directeur de la Comédie is one title given to a play performed by Monsieur Delemery and members of Het Fransche Liefhebbery Geselschap ("The French Amateur Company") in the African Theatre,Cape Town on 29 October, 1803, with Pygmalion (Rousseau). (Other titles include Le Directeur de Comedie or Le Directeur de la Comedie.)

No further details are given, but it is very likely that this was a version of Monet, Directeur de l'Opéra-Comique , a comedy in one act by Pierre-Yon Barré, Jean-Baptiste Radet and François-Georges Desfontaines.
