La Sirène de Paris is a drama in five acts and six tableaux by Eugène Grangé (1810-1887)[1] and Xavier de Montépin (1823-1902)[2]

Published in Paris by M. Lévy fr. in 1860, first performed at the Théâtre De L'Ambigu-Comique, paris, on 19 April 1860.

Translations and adaptations

Adapted into English as The Syren of Paris, a romantic drama in two acts by William E. Suter (1811?-1882)[]

Performance history in South Africa

1867: Performed in the Theatre Royal by the Garrison Players on 19 October, with The Area Belle (Brough and Halliday).
