L. van Hogezand (fl. 1870) was a local playwright, apparently living in Kimberley in the 1870s.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Author of De Kater, of De Verdronken Minnaar, a Dutch character sketch in 2 acts. Performed in Cape Town by Aurora II on 5 November, 1872.
