("Krugersdorp Afrikaans Amateur Theatre Organisation") An Afrikaans amateur dramatic society founded in 1954, after P.P.B. Breytenbach’s departure from the Krugersdorp Municipal Theatrical and Orchestral Society in 1952 had caused that society to be split into Afrikaans and English factions.

Acronym: KATO.

Amateur dramatic society founded in 1956, after P.P.B. Breytenbach’s departure from the Krugersdorp Municipal Theatrical and Orchestral Society had caused that society to be split into Afrikaans and English factions. The English section was Krugersdorp Amateur Dramatic Society or KADS
