Amateur dramatic society founded in 1956, after P.P.B. Breytenbach’s departure from the Krugersdorp Municipal Theatrical and Orchestral Society had caused that society to be split into Afrikaans and English factions. The Afrikaans section was Krugersdorpse Afrikaanse Toneel Organisasie or KATO
