Kopstukke (lit. "head pieces") is an Afrikaans one-act play by Jeanne Goosen (1937-2020).

The original text

A play about two people who have both been paralysed in a car accident, and can only lie in a bed and talk.

Published in the collection Drie Eenakters: Kombuis-Blues; Kopstukke; 'n Koffer in die Kas by Haum-Literêr in 1992.

Performance history in South Africa

1990: Performed at the Windybrow Theatre as part of PACT's Pot-Pourri Festival in April 1990, directed by Stephan Bouwer starring Lizz Meiring and André Stolz. This production was also staged on the Fringe at the national Arts Festival, 1990.
