Konings ("Kings") is an Afrikaans TV series of 20 episodes for SABC TV1.
Made in 1991, it tells the story of the fierce and often bloody struggle between the Groenewald and Roodt families for control of the Superspaar company, placed in the context of the larger political post-Apartheid struggle in South Africa.
Though it was not continued after the first season, it was later followed by the series Torings (1994), by the same author.

Written by Paul C. Venter and produced by Brigadier Films and Leisureco. Original music was by Nic Pickard and Ferdi Brendgen. The executive producer was Frederik Botha with Johan Bernard as producer. Cinematography by Arthur West, Editing by Nena Olwage.
