Koggelmanderman ("Rock-lizard man") is an Afrikaans play by Pieter Fourie.

The original text
Based on his experiences as a child in Luckhoff, the play is set in the Kalahari desert and utilizes San and Khoisan mythology in a highly symbolic and magic realist way to look at the role of love in the small circle of a marriage.
Fourie submitted the text for the newly instituted Dirk en Reinette Nagtegaal KKNK kompetisie vir Nuutgeskrewe Verhoogtekste ("The Dirk and Reinette Nagtegaal KKNK competition for Newly Written Playtexts"]], and was the first winner of what more popularly known simply as the Nagtegaalprys. This resulted in a sponsored production at the KKNK in 2003. The production did not draw much media attention nor audiences at the time.
