The company

A theatrical company formed in 2000 by Artistic Director, Greg King, joined in 2003 by Steven Stead as Executive Director. The company ran the intimate Kwasuka Theatre for three years, and then moved on to collaborations with larger theatres such as the KZN Playhouse, Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre, the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town, and the Liberty Theatre on the Square in Johannesburg.

Its inaugural production was Ben Elton's Popcorn in 2000, followed by The Importance of Being Earnest (2001), Steel Magnolias, Keely and Du and Private Lives (2002); The Memory of Water, Run to Ground, Proof and Table Manners (2003); The Memory of Water, Laughing Wild, Dangerous Liaisons, and Cinderella (2004); Crimes of the Heart, Art, Boston Marriage, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Dracula (2005); Popcorn, Winnie-the-Pooh, Art, Boston Marriage, Sleeping Beauty (2006); The Road to Mecca, The Jungle Book, The Mystery of Irma Vep and Aladdin (2007); Oleanna, Shirley Valentine, The Wizard of Oz and Cinderella (2008); Little Shop of Horrors, Winnie-the-Pooh, Wit, Noises Off and Peter Pan (2009); Miracle, Duet for One, Boston Marriage, The Mystery of Irma Vep, Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood (2010); I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, God of Carnage, , Cabaret, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (2011); Don't Dress for Dinner, Red, Cabaret, Venus in Fur, and Beauty and the Beast (2012); Twitch, The Ladykillers and Shirley Valentine (2013);
