Described as "'n Sprokie vir kinders" ("a fable for children"), the text is a free adaptation of Puss-in-Boots by members of the P.O.S. Group in the Drama Department of Stellenbosch University in 1971, under the editorial guidance of Joc.de Bruyn.
The text was published as a DALRO Playscript in 1971.
