(19*-) Hungarian-born director who left Hungary in 1979 for political reasons. His first production in South Africa was Tango for NAPAC. *** Directed Diary of a Madman (Gogol) in Cape Town, 1988. (Fleur du Cap Best Director Award), Tennesse Williams’s The Glass Menagerie (Johannesburg Civic, 1994). Habitual (2000), Report to an Academy (2013).
