Originally founded in 2004 by Simon and Helen Cooper and Nicholas and Liz Ellenbogen in the old bakery building in Kalk Bay (?*). In 2005 it moved to the heritage protected Dutch Reformed Church (built 1876), on Main Road, which they converted  into an intimate 78 seat theatre and restaurant. The Theatre has created a unique dinner and theatre experience where guests can linger after the show and meet the performers in a relaxed environment. It presents a varied programme of world-class entertainment across drama, comedy, dance and music.
