Hy was direkteur van die Mamelodi teaterorg. en ook ‘n stigterslid in 1985.  ''[[Daar is Pretoria]]'' (skrywer Junior Makhoere) in die [[Théatre Rendevouz]] In Pta.  Eerste teatergroep uit ‘n township wat in die teater gespeel het en in Afr!!!  Was ook by ATKV-Toneelfees in Pta & die Std Bank Nas Kunstefees in Ghmstd en weer by KKNK.  !996.  Vertel storie van Pta en sy mense, tsotsi’s in S/side, boereorkes en Mil. Parade by Pta jaarlikse skou.  Kort satiriese sketse, a cappella sang, mimiek en drama.  Skrywer speel in stuk en drie kollegas, [[Themba Ndimande]], [[Calvin Ngcaku]], [[Sello Ngale]]) v/d [[Mamelodi Theatre Organization]]. Hoofdoel om alle kunsvorme te bevorder.  Hy is baie betrokke by gemeenskaps – en indus. Teater.

Biography

Junior was born in Potchefstroom but has spent most of his life in Pretoria. He inherited his love for theatre, song and dance from his mother.

=Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He is a founder member and director of the Mamelodi Theatre Organisation. He is involved in community theatre as well as industrial theatre.

He wrote and directed several plays and revues, such as the satire Daar is Pretoria (written and performed in Afrikaans), Blues Train, Ek My Bra, Johan Kuier die Toordokter and Take a Leaf.
