Biography

Born Judy Broderick circa 1963. She is married to Paul Ditchfield; they have a son, Keaton.


Training

Completed a B.A. degree in Psychology, Speech and Drama at the University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg in 1984.


Career

She joined the Loft Theatre Company, NAPAC, 1985. Started a freelance career in Johannesburg in 1987.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She performed in Kwamanzi, Tales from the Pleasure Palace, Christian, Boo to the Moon, Every Good Boy Deserves Favour, and Maid in South Africa for NAPAC.

Played in Fiela's Child - The Musical, Menopause - The Musical and Tarts. Played Stella in the TV series Isidingo.

FNB/Tonight Vita Comedy Award for Heel Against the Head, 1994/1995.

Nomination, Regional Vita Awards, Kwazulu Natal, Best supporting actress for Heel Against the Head, for her role as Celeste, 1995/1996
