John W. Fredericks is a storyteller, playwright, scriptwriter.

Also billed as John Fredericks and possibly John Fredericks Prince.

Author of the Afrikaans play Johnny Loskop (lit: "Johnny Loosehead" and the scriptwriter for the films Shooting Bokkie (2003) and Noem My Skollie: Call Me Thief (2016).

Noem my Skollie isn’t Fredericks’ first successful film. He co-wrote Shooting Bokkie, the 2003 mockumentary about young drug runners, which managed one international award nomination; and in 2000 was further nominated for Best Italian Documentary Film for Hard Living Kids: Tomorrow’s Heroes.
