CARSON, John. (19*-) Actor. Roles include the Baxter production of Julian Mitchell’s Another Country together with Neil McCarthy, Jeremy Crutchley and Sean Taylor, directed by Nikolas Simmonds with lighting design by Pip Marshall in 1983 before it moved to the Market Theatre with minor cast changes in July. He starred in the Baxter production of Aleksei Arbuzov’s Old-World together with Zoë Randall and directed by Rosalie van der Gucht at the Leonard Rayne Theatre in 1984. He starred in Miscarriage of Murder for Pieter Toerien in 1986, "C.S. Lewis" in Shadowlands (Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Actor, 1993), and directed Happy Jack in 1990 and Oleanna in 1994. **
