Biography

Born circa 1950.


Training

He trained at Rhodes University and at the Accademia Nazzionale D’Arte Drammatica in Rome.


Career

M-Net film and literary awards judge or administrator

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

As a student he had a role in Putsonderwater (1969). He had a role in Othello Slegs Blankes (1972). Other productions include The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Romeo and Juliet, Antigone, Oklahoma!, Camelot, The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore (pre-1982), Hamlet, Godspell, Twelfth Night.

For the People's Space he produced and directed Salomé (1981), Edward II (1981), Bent (1981), Alice! (1981).

He directed the film Slavery of Love in 1999.
