(1934-1991) Actor. Later known as Job Stewart in England.

Born in Cape Town, went to Christian Brothers College and studied drama at the University of Cape Town. January 20, 1934 in Cape Town, South Africa. He died on October 23, 1991 in Hong Kong.


Theatre abroad

His theatre credits include roles in King John (Shakespeare, Old Vic Theatre, London, 1953); Julius Caesar (Shakespeare , Old Vic Theatre, London, 1955); Saint Joan (Shaw, Old Vic Theatre Company, New York City Center in New York, 1962)


South Africa

Among the roles were The Glass Menagerie (Dir. Leonard Schach, 1949, in Little Theatre, Cape Town), Hassan (NTO, 1950)


Film and TV

Film roles (under the name Job Stewart) included The Last Shot You Hear (1969), Qing cheng zhi lian (1984) and Love in a Cold Climate (1980).
